On December 3, Andrii Sybiha and Antony Blinken have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United States of America regarding collaboration on Ukrainian energy system resilience today at NATO Headquarters.
The Memorandum provides for the possibility of US assistance totaling up to $825 million.
The document creates a legal framework for improving the resilience of Ukraine's energy system, including restoring its critical infrastructure, introducing distributed generation, reforming the energy sector and facilitating the post-war transition to a low-carbon, competitive and European-integrated economy.
