Ukraine is concerned about the shelling on 10 October by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of the United Nations Interim Force positions in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL), which caused injuries to the representatives of the international mission.

This incident is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and UNSC resolution 1701 (2006).

We call on all parties to the conflict to ensure full security and respect the immunity of UN agencies and their representatives.
