October 10, 2024, marks the 27-th anniversary of the founding by Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, which is designed to ensure the strengthening of democratic values, the rule of law, sustainable development, international and regional security and stability.

Ukraine supports the further development of the Organization and is ready to contribute to the initiation and implementation within its framework of initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening the socio-economic, energy, scientific-technical and humanitarian potential of its member states, in particular regarding the GUAM Transport Corridor.

Noting the important role of the Organization as a platform for promoting economic development and restoring stability in the region, Ukraine is counting on further fruitful interaction with partners to achieve just peace, security, and economic prosperity based on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of member states within its internationally recognized borders and other generally recognized norms and principles of international law.
