On 12–13 May 2026, diplomats of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Guangzhou, at the invitation of the Chinese company Zhuhai ALPHA Electric Co., LTD Guangdong Province, paid a visit to the headquarters of its partner company EcoReesun in Jiangsu Province.

During the visit, the Ukrainian diplomats held talks at the company’s headquarters and visited two EcoReesun production facilities.

One of the facilities produces silicon components used in the manufacturing of microchips, which are exported to leading global chip manufacturers in the Netherlands and Taiwan.

The second facility produces solar panels and other solar battery components, which are supplied both to the Chinese market and to many countries around the world.

During the talks, the owners of EcoReesun expressed their interest in entering the Ukrainian market. In particular, they stated their readiness to invest in the construction of similar production facilities in Ukraine with the aim of contributing to the reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine’s electric power sector. The company also plans in the future to supply products manufactured at Ukrainian-based facilities to the markets of the European Union.

In order to hold negotiations with potential partners, as well as to study the legislative, investment and security situation, an EcoReesun delegation plans to visit Ukraine in June 2026.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in Guangzhou is providing organizational support for the visit and for a series of negotiations with representatives of the Ukrainian government and business community.
