The Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou Serhii KAPUZO paid an official visit to the Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, Liu CHENZI, where, among other things, an official lunch was organized for the Consul General of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the interlocutors confirmed their readiness to implement a wide range of issues of future cooperation, in particular, within the framework of existing bilateral agreements of sister cities and regions, and also discussed ways of possible expansion of interregional cooperation between the cities of Ukraine and Guangdong province.

Serhii KAPUZO drew the interlocutor's attention to the main areas of his activities in the nearest future, namely: protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities of Ukraine living or staying in his consular district (provinces of Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Hainan and Guangxi-Zhuang Autonomous District), conducive to the development of friendly relations between Ukraine and the region of responsibility, the expansion of economic, trade, scientific and technical, humanitarian, cultural, sports ties and tourism between Ukraine and the People's Republic of China.

Liu CHENZI, in turn, assured Consul General of Ukraine Serhii KAPUZO of the necessary support and assistance in the work of the Consulate General of Ukraine by the employees of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province.

The parties agreed to continue to maintain direct working contacts with the aim of intensifying bilateral cooperation.
