Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou Serhii Kapuzo held a meeting with Luo Jun, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province at the latter's invitation. 

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of future cooperation, in particular, within the existing bilateral agreements of sister cities and regions. 

Serhii Kapuzo drew the interlocutor's attention to the priority areas of activity of the Consulate General in the future, namely: permanent protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities living or staying in the consular district of the institution (Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Hainan and Guangxi Zhuang provinces autonomous district), promoting the development of friendly relations between Ukraine and the region of responsibility, the expansion of economic, trade, scientific and technical, humanitarian, cultural, sports ties and tourism between Ukraine and the People's Republic of China. 

Luo Jun, in turn, assured the Ukrainian diplomat of all kinds of support and assistance in the work of the Consulate General, and also conveyed an invitation from the Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, Liu Chengzi, to pay an official visit to her in the nearest future. 

The parties agreed to continue to maintain direct working contacts with the aim of intensifying bilateral cooperation.
