From 19 to 28 April 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Olexander Nechytaylo paid a working visit to the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, aimed at promoting trade and economic cooperation, as well as deepening contacts in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

In Guangzhou, Ambassador Nechytaylo held a meeting with Mr. Yang Yong, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government. The parties discussed prospects for developing interregional cooperation in the fields of economy, logistics, industry, culture, and humanitarian interaction.

During the visit, Ambassador Nechytaylo also visited the headquarters of Meest China, a logistics company with Ukrainian capital, also held a series of meetings with representatives of Ukrainian and Chinese businesses.
