10 March 2026 09:02

On March 5–6, 2026, the Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou, Serhii Kapuzo, at the invitation of the Chinese company Guangdong Gongboshi Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen), paid a working visit to Shanghai to visit the company’s headquarters and industrial park and to hold negotiations with its management.

The main topics of the negotiations included the provision of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the form of electrical and heating equipment and other products needed by Ukrainians amid the destruction of the country’s energy infrastructure, as well as issues related to the restoration of Ukraine’s energy sector after the end of hostilities.

The head of the Chinese company, Mr. Shen, expressed readiness to provide a batch of diesel heaters and diesel generators, which will soon be manufactured at the company’s factories located in Guangdong Province.

In addition, during the meeting the parties discussed plans to construct manufacturing facilities of Chinese companies in Ukraine based on one of the country’s industrial parks.

The meeting was also attended by the Consul General of Ukraine in Shanghai, Artem Pushkin.

Chinese partners also organized a meeting between the Ukrainian diplomats and the management of the state-owned group of companies “Liando Group.” The company has extensive experience in the construction of residential, commercial, logistics, and transport infrastructure and has expressed its intention and plans to participate in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, including through the use of its own financing and the construction of critical social infrastructure (hospitals, schools, and kindergartens) on a pro bono basis. The company has its own manufacturing and research facilities in Guangdong and Hunan provinces.

In addition, negotiations were held with the management of the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panel kits, “Jinko Group.” During the meeting with General Manager Mr. Bright Wang and Vice President of Sales Ms. Anita Li, the parties discussed the supply of advanced alternative energy systems to Ukraine and the construction of a complex of power plants in Ukraine.

Ukrainian diplomats also proposed that Jinko Group consider the possibility of supplying the company’s equipment to Ukraine as humanitarian assistance.
