On July 24, 2013 Consul for Economic Affairs V.Berezovskyi met with Deputy Director of Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province He Dinghong.

During the meeting, the Chinese side informed about their participation in the round table "Ukraine-China: the new horizons of strategic partnership and business cooperation prospects" held in Kyiv on June 14 this year within a business seminar "Ukraine and Partners." Chinese official participation in the round table was provided by the Consulate General. He said he received important information about the status and prospects of Ukrainian-Chinese relations especially in trade and economic sphere, which can guide the work with Ukraine on the regional level. In general, He Dinghong highly praised the level of organization of the round table.

He also provided information about his participation in the Ukrainian-Chinese business-seminar, which was held in Kiev on June 26 this year as a part of the "Week of Guangdong province in Ukraine." In particular, he said that during the event were discussed issues of the bilateral cooperation, held meetings between the entrepreneurs of the two countries, signed some trade documents.

In order to strengthen cooperation between the regions of Ukraine and China  Consul V.Berezovskyi transferred to the Chinese side some presentation materials about economy situation in Poltava region, the possibilities of it international cooperation and the draft Agreement on cooperation between Poltava Chamber of Commerce and partners in Guangzhou city or in Guangdong province.»
