On April 3, 2026, as part of the annual visit to Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, a meeting took place between the Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou, Serhii Kapuzo, and representatives of the business communities of Guangdong Province and the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Representatives of Chinese companies and enterprises expressed their interest in cooperating with Ukraine in various sectors. Particular attention was paid to infrastructure construction, conventional and alternative energy, logistics, and trade.

The Chinese business representatives stated their readiness to take an active part in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and also proposed specific investment projects for Ukraine’s economy and industry.

Representatives of the business community of the Macao SAR invited the diplomats of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Guangzhou to visit Macao at the end of April this year for a more detailed presentation of the business projects.

The Ukrainian diplomats expressed their gratitude for the organization of the meeting and welcomed the intentions and proposals put forward by the business representatives.
