On 4 June 2026, at the invitation of the Consul General of the Republic of Italy in Guangzhou, Mr. Valerio De Parolis, diplomats of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Guangzhou took part in a solemn diplomatic reception on the occasion of the National Day of Italy — the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Italian Republic.

During the event, the Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou, Mr. Serhii Kapuzo, congratulated his Italian colleague on the national holiday and wished the Italian people and state success, sustainable development, peace, and inspiration.

Ukrainian diplomats sincerely thanked Mr. De Parolis and the entire Italian people for their continued support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in their struggle for freedom, peace, and independence.

The Ukrainian side discussed with the Italian diplomat the global geopolitical situation, as well as the continuation of support for Ukraine by the Italian Government and people.

In addition, Ukrainian diplomats held conversations with consuls general and other representatives of diplomatic missions of Ukraine’s partner countries, during which various issues related to the domestic political and economic situation in the People’s Republic of China, as well as the continuation of support for Ukraine, were discussed.
