On April 23, 2026, during the working visit of the Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou, Serhiy Kapuzo, to the city of Zhuhai, diplomats of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission visited the headquarters of the Chinese company Zhuhai Comking Electric Co., Ltd.
During the meeting with the company’s management, the Ukrainian diplomats were presented with information on the company’s activities and development plans. In particular, representatives of the Chinese side informed them that the company operates four manufacturing facilities, two of which are located near Zhuhai and produce electrical equipment, including electrical boxes, switchboards, and other devices for controlling electric current for private houses, apartment buildings, public institutions, and industrial enterprises.
The company’s facility in Foshan, Guangdong Province, manufactures charging stations, including those for electric vehicles. Another facility of Zhuhai Comking Electric Co., Ltd, located in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, produces a wide range of charging stations, energy storage systems of various capacities — from 15 kW to 1000 kW — as well as electrical transformers.
Zhuhai Comking Electric Co., Ltd holds European Union quality certificates. The Chinese company has already implemented a number of projects involving the installation of its equipment abroad, including in Thailand and Nigeria. The company also has many years of experience exporting its products worldwide, including to Ukraine.
Mr. Wu, head of Zhuhai Comking Electric Co., Ltd, informed the Consul General of Ukraine that the company had, in principle, made a decision to launch an investment project aimed at establishing its own production facility in Ukraine. The company’s owners consider the Ukrainian market promising for electrical equipment, as Ukraine’s damaged power infrastructure requires reconstruction and modernization. The Chinese company is also interested in supplying products manufactured in Ukraine to the markets of European Union countries. In addition to the purely commercial component, the company is also ready to engage in humanitarian activities.
The Ukrainian diplomats proposed that the Chinese side familiarize itself with the activities of Ukraine’s industrial parks and consider the possibility of locating its production facilities on their territory. The head of the Chinese company expressed interest in this proposal, and the company’s specialists will study it and, in the near future, hold online negotiations with the management of one of the Ukrainian industrial parks in order to discuss the terms of possible cooperation.
Following this, Zhuhai Comking Electric Co., Ltd will send its delegation to Ukraine for closer acquaintance with its partners, as well as to study Ukrainian legislation and the conditions for commercial and investment activities. The Consulate General of Ukraine will provide comprehensive support on issues related to organizing the negotiation process and arranging the visit of Chinese specialists to Ukraine with a view to implementing this promising investment project in our country.
At the end of the visit, the Ukrainian diplomats visited the company’s industrial zone, where they familiarized themselves in detail with the production process and the subsequent logistics of electrical equipment.
