In respond to the recent spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) through some countries and regions, Hainan is instituting strengthened entry quarantine for all arrivals. The multifaceted actions to prevent and control the epidemic caused by COVID-19 are as follows.

1. According to Hainan’s regulations related to epidemic control, all the ones from outside the mainland must truthfully complete the Entry/Exit Health Declaration Form when entering Hainan and report to the customs their identity information, residence in Hainan, contact numbers, travel purpose, and health-related information (including personal health status, travel and residence history in the affected countries/regions over the previous 14 days, exposure to COVID-19 patients or patients with fever or respiratory symptoms).

2. People having the symptom of respiratory infection, fever, chill, fatigue, diarrhea, conjunctiva suffusion and so on, should be provided to related authorities and be sent to designated medical facilities for necessary investigation and inspection.

3. People who enter China having travel and residence history in the affected countries/regions such as Korea, Italy, Japan, Iran over the previous 14 days should be provided to related authorities and be sent to designated facilities together for necessary medical inspection. (Quarantine:14 days)

4. Inbound close contactors to Hainan shall be sent to designated facilities together for necessary medical inspection by related authorities.

5. Inbound arrivals to Hainan from other affected countries and with work and fixed residence in Hainan require home quarantine. And related authorities shall be responsible for picking up.

Inbound arrivals from other countries and without fixed residence shall be sent to designated places together for medical observation by the office of epidemic prevention and control.

6. Arrivals from other countries and transferring via the port of Haikou, SYX, BFA shall be arranged at the isolation area for medical observation till they leave Hainan.

7. Other inbound arrivals will be directed by their work units and community for self-observation.

8. People having the symptom of respiratory infection, fever, chill, fatigue, diarrhea, conjunctival suffusion and so on, should report to customs initiatively and coordinate with customs for the measurement of body temperature, medical inspection, medical investigation and other physical examinations.

9. If inbound people having the symptom of respiratory infection, fever, chill, fatigue, diarrhea, conjunctival suffusion and so on during the transit, please do inform the crews at once. The personal protective equipment should be provided to all the passengers by the superintendent.
